Wayne Malcolm McSorley

Passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital , on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of 37 years to Lois (nee Potts). Loving father of Leanne (Peter), Alanna (Jeff), Edward (Christine), Brad (Cathy), Stephen (Sarah), Dale (Michelle). Cherished grandfather to Ashten, Shelby, Bailey, Braeden, Garrett, Katelyn, Jake, Justin, Bruce, Shannon, Katie, Dana, Adalyn, Chloe and Olivia. Cherished great grandfather to 14 grandchildren. Wayne was a dedicated operations manager at Bell Canada for 32 years. He will be remembered for his kind spirit, unique and engaging sense of humour and most of all stories, adventures and more from a life lived to its fullest.

Cremation has taken place and the family will come together for a private gathering in the spring.
