Peacefully at home, Orillia, on Sunday, March 7, 2021, in her 94th year.  Violet Steele, beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Steele.  Loving mother of Gordon (Deborah) Steele of North York and Debbie (Claude predeceased) Gollain of North York.  Also loved by her grandchildren Cynthia (Ryan) Normandin, Brent (Karen) Steele, Christopher (Jessica) Gollain,  Michael Gollain and great granddaughter Emma Rose Normandin.  Dear sister of Cecil, Ralph, Pearl and Florrie all predeceased.  Violet is survived by her niece, nephew and their families.  The Steele Family would like to Thank all the staff of Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Happy at Homes and the Bayshore Nursing for their care and support of Violet.  A Private Family Graveside Service will take place at Glendale Cemetery, Etobicoke.  Arrangements entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia.  If desired, memorial donations to Soldiers' Memorial Hospital or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.mundellfuneralhome.com
