Victor Ferrarin

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Ferrarin on October 8, 2025. Beloved husband and best friend of Diane (nee Creber) for 35 wonderful years. He will be deeply missed by sons Mark (Maureen) and Matthew; and stepdaughter Angela Langman, as well as grandsons Jesse, Mitchell; and step grandsons Tavish and Calum White. Great grandfather to Naya, Greyson, Blake and Carter. Victor was the beloved son of Marius and Aida Ferrarin, both predeceased. Cherished brother of Emilie, (predeceased), Rene (predeceased) and Lillian Zibemberg.

Victor was born on August 31, 1939, and immigrated to Canada from Brazil in 1964 and settled in Toronto. He worked in engineering, first at Kilborn Engineering Ltd., and then after moving to Orillia, worked for Dorr Oliver Canada (G. L. & V.) in the engineering department for over 35 years before he retired.

Those who knew Victor will remember him for his quiet, caring, gentlemanly ways and his willingness to always help others. Victor was always smiling and had a positive attitude. He was a role model in the way he loved and cared for his family.

Friends and family will be received at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia, on Thursday, October 16 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 17 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 265 Coldwater Road West, Orillia, with a reception to follow in the church hall. Victor will rest at the Marchmont Baptist Cemetery, Severn. If desired memorial donations can be made through the Mundell Funeral Home 705-325-2231 to the Mariposa House Hospice.
