After a courageous battle with Leukemia, on Saturday, February 27th, 2021, in her 69th year, with her beloved mother by her side.  Valerie was born in Orillia where she was raised by her parents Ilene and Douglas (predeceased) Bright and grandparents Horace and Isabel Greenwell (both predeceased).  Sister of Catherine Lorraine Gainer (nee: Bright) (predeceased).  Lovingly remembered by her niece Jacquie (Dan) Shilling and family.  Dearly missed by her work family Marsha Lambert.  Due to Covid restrictions, a private family service will be held.  If desired, memorial donations to the SPCA, Salvation Army, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated and may be made through the Mundell Funeral Home (705) 325-2231.  Messages of condolence are welcome at www.mundellfuneralhome.com
