It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Trevor Connor, who left us peacefully at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital after a brief and courageous battle with cancer on October 22, 2025, at the age of 69.

Trevor was a loving husband to Jennifer (nee Shave) and a devoted father to Brandon Connor (Tammy) and Ashley Watson(Jon). He took immense pride in being a grandfather to his cherished grandchildren, Victoria, Brodie, and Rose.

Trevor was the dear son of the late Walter (Sonny) and Fern. He was also a brother to Paul (Mary) and Glen (Tammy), and he was predeceased by his brother David (Julie).

A man who loved people and enjoyed chatting, Trevor will be deeply missed by his family and friends. In particular, his absence will be felt by his mother-in-law, Patricia Shave (Don), and his sister-in-law, Maureen Shave.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the doctors and nurses at OSMH and RVH, particularly to his family physician, Dr. Peter Daniel. Additionally, we extend our thanks to the staff at Happy at Home and Bayshore Nursing for their compassionate care.

The family will host a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to the Hospital for Sick Children and the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital.

Trevor’s warmth, kindness, and spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
