Theresa Marie Ethier

It is with great sadness the Ethier family announce the passing of Theresa on September 10, 2025, in her 97th year. Beloved wife and best friend of the late William "Bill" Ethier. Loving mother of Sandra de Munnik (Hank, predeceased), Gerry Ethier (Dianne) and Cheryl Hill (Leonard). Theresa is the cherished "Nanny" of Amy de Munnik (Colin Dennie), Christopher Ethier (Laura), Brunina Ethier (Niall McNamara), Lindsay Hill, and Adam Hill. Proud great grandmother of Maddy & Cameron Ethier and Declan McNamara. Now reunited with her loving parents Charles & Hattie Bernier, brother Reginald Bernier, and sister Freda Moon.

Our mother took great pleasure walking her "kitty kat" Willy around the Atrium Residence until his passing when the Atrium dedicated a bench in his name.

A special thank you to Dr. Sochaniwsky and to all Management and Staff of the Atrium Retirement Residence for their loving care shown to our mother over the years.

The late Mrs. Theresa Ethier will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Tuesday, September 23rd from 11a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment: St. Michael's Cemetery, Orillia. In lieu of flowers and as an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
