Susan Gail Johnston (née Jamieson)

Susan Gail Johnston (née Jamieson) passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital with her daughter by her side on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the age of 71. Born in Belleville, Ontario on December 2, 1953, to Ray and Kathleen (née Baigent) Jamieson (both predeceased). Married to David Johnston for 47 years. Loving mother to Kristine (Greg) Preston. Cherished Nana to Jamieson David Preston. Dear sister of Richard (Jeanne predeceased) Pringle, Anthea (Jim - predeceased) Dwyer, Barbara and John Lane (both predeceased), Janet (Tom) Macdonald, Raymond - predeceased (Angie) Jamieson, and Kathy (Roger) Brunet. Sister-in-law to Robert “Glenn” - predeceased (Elizabeth) Johnston. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care.

A private family interment will be held at St. Andrew’s - St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia.
