What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose for all that we love deeply becomes part of us.
Passed away at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Sunday March 27, 2022 at the age of 66. Stephen, beloved husband of Nicole (nee Norton). Proud Dad of Stephanie and Storme (Dan Clappison). Son of the late Wilma Patterson. Dear brother of John Waugh (Jody), Eric Waugh (Jennifer) and Daphne Mainprize. Brother in law of Lisa and Renée Norton. Fondly remembered by his many friends who were like family especially his "little brother" Dustin Sheridan. Predeceased by his best friend Dave Tressider. Stephen shared his life with everyone, through his many interests.  He enjoyed golfing with his family, a shared love of car racing with his mother, being on the water, whether he was sitting by the lake or cruising in a boat. He travelled the world; experiencing new cultures and meeting friends along the way.  He always loved catching up on his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs with Lisa, which shows his optimism.  He found accomplishment and creativity through his carpentry, and peace in his artwork through drawing and watercolour.  To properly celebrate and honor such a memorable person and life, one that we were all fortunate enough to have been part of, please join us from 1pm-4pm on Saturday, June 18th at our family home, 443 Sundial Dr., Orillia, for a celebration of Stephens life. All family and friends are welcome. You’re encouraged to write down any stories or memories you have of Stephen to be forever cherished.  Interment will be held at St. Andrew's - St. James' Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Melanoma Research.
