Stephen Muir Clarke

Stephen passed away at home Wednesday January 1, 2025, at the age of 57. Beloved son of Basil (predeceased) and Shirley. Brother of Jim, Paul (Katherine) Greg (Pat) Heather-Ann (predeceased) and Judith (Brian). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Stephen was a lifelong resident of Orillia. He graduated from ODCVI.

As a boy, Stephen worked at French's Stand in Couchiching Park for many years. Stephen was an excellent Alpine skier and also enjoyed cross-country skiing, sailing, power boating, water skiing and riding dirt bikes.

As a young man Stephen worked at a couple of local Marina's. He also worked with his father and brother Greg at Roto-Static Carpet and Upholstery and with his brother Jim in construction (doing welding and flooring installation). He also owned and operated his own Roto-Static franchise (Clarven) in Gravenhurst and area for several years.

A Funeral Mass and Interment will take place at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church 4933 Highway 12, Ramara at 2:00 pm on Wednesday April 30th. As an expression of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated and can be made through the Mundell Funeral Home (705)325-2231.
