Stella Pappas

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Stella Pappas-Valkanas in her 92 nd year.

She is pre deceased by her husband Stavros Valkanas and deeply missed by her stepsons Kostas (and Katerina) and George Valkanas, her grandchildren Valeria(Kostas), Maria, Stavros, Joan and Stefanos.
She also had many great grandchildren. Although much of her family is located in her original home of Sparta, Greece, they were always close in each other’s hearts.

Stella passed away peacefully in her home in Orillia, with her devoted  caregiver and friend, Michael Southorn by her side.
She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
Stella was a generous soul who always dedicated her love and care to the many senior members in our families. She especially loved children and she was an incredible baker of greek desserts!
Funeral services  will held Wednesday October 5th at 10:30 am at the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Toronto with the burial to follow immediate after at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto. Arrangements entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home.
