Sharon Tracey Zytkewich

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Tracey Zytkewich, on Sunday, September 13, 2026, surrounded by family at Soldier’s Memorial Hospital in Orillia.

Beloved wife of Victor for 53 wonderful years. Loving and devoted mother of Shawn Pollock (Gary), the late Tracey Zytkewich, and Jason Zytkewich (Julie). Proud grandmother of Kacey Noble (Jake), Jordan Coulson (Patty), Shane Keenan (Toralynn); Kaden & Jaxon Zytkewich; great-grandmother to Annika, Quinley, Harper, and Trace. Dear daughter of the late James and Wilma Dobson; sister of Diane (Bob, both predeceased), and Carol (Bill, predeceased), Eleanor, Marilyn, Loretta, and Beverley. Sharon will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege to have known her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care, and a very special thanks to Nurse Angela and Nurse Practitioner Kathryn for their unwavering kindness, support, and guidance through this process.

As per Sharon's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family would like to invite everyone for a toast and remembrance of Sharon's life on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia, between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. All are welcome to gather as we come together to honour Sharon’s life. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
