It is with great shock and sadness that the family announces the passing of Scott, on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. He was the beloved son of the late Grant & Grace Jermey, cherished brother of Pam Whelan (Jerry) and Pat Jermey (Joe Micallef), proud uncle of Laura (Dan Lytwyn), Patrick (Betty and their sons Lucas & Oliver) and John, survived by his uncle Jack Smith. He will be truly missed by many friends, neighbours and the community. Scott will be forever remembered as a kind, energetic and intelligent man; who lived out his passions daily through community, agriculture and politics.
Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Sunday, November 24th from 6 - 8 pm. and on Monday, November 25th from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday morning, November 26th at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 99 Peter St. N., Orillia (due to limited parking at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, please feel free to use Mundell's parking lot). Reception to follow at O.D.A.S. Park - 4500 Fairgrounds Rd., Severn. Private Interment: Esson Cemetery, Oro-Medonte. In Memory of Scott, memorial donations to the Esson Presbyterian Church or the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital (www.osmhfoundation.ca/donate) would be appreciated.
