Roy Dawson

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Roy Dawson on November 3, 2025 at the age of 81. Beloved husband to the late Sussanne (1997). Loving father to Jacqueline (Kris) Owczarek, and Gordon Dawson. Proud grandfather to Jeffrey (Ashley), John (Megan), & Dustin; and great-grandfather to Mason, Ronan, Elsie, and Anna. Predeceased by parents Gerald and Lena Dawson. Dear brother to Joan (predeceased), Edward, and Larry (predeceased). Lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Family and friends will be received at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia, on Friday, November 7, from 11:00am until the time of service in the Chapel at 12:00pm. Roy will be buried alongside Sussanne at the St. Andrew’s - St. James’ Cemetery, 320 Coldwater Road West, Orillia, immediately following the service. All are welcomed back to Mundell’s for a reception and a time of fellowship.
