Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Orillia on January 19, 2020 in her 83rd year. Born in Edinburgh, in 1937 to George and Elizabeth Gillies (both predeceased). Loving wife of Thomas (Tom) Martin Phillips. Mother of Lynne Moir (Colin) of Edinburgh Scotland & Elaine Brammer of Orillia. Cherished grandmother of Callum & Mathew. Sister of George Gillies (Cherry) of England & the late Patricia Raeburn (Bill) of Scotland. Rosemary will be missed by many nieces, nephews in Scotland, England, Canada & USA.  The family would like to thank all the Nurses & Staff on Soldier's I for the wonderful care.  Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 99 Peter St. N. Orillia on Sunday February 9, 2020 at 1 p.m. If desired memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of choice would be gratefully appreciated by the family & can be made through the Mundell Funeral Home.
