FOY, Ronald Arthur (Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #135, Beaverton) (R.C.R. 45', P.P.C.L.I., LT. C PRO C 52' - 54', R.C.M.P. 46' - 48' Manitoba, City of Toronto Police 48' - 59') Passed away peacefully in his sleep with his son by his side at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at the age of 88. Cherished Husband of Margaret Ann (nee Morrison). Loving & loved Father of Dana L. Foy & wife Heather and Kerrie Ann Millar & husband Drew. Proud Grandfather of Meaghann Walton (Paul), Rebecca & Carly Foy and Vanessa Farr & David Farr (Sarah) and great grandfather of Asher, Charlotte, Grace Margaret and Lucy Ann. He took pride in his career in the electrical industry after leaving the police & military service. After retiring in 1988 he spent his time travelling the world, golfing and enjoying the great outdoors. He was a proud supporter of the Ontario Federation of Anglers & Hunters. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Saturday, July 11th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Cremation to follow.
