Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, after complications from his hip surgery on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025, at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, in his 89th year. Ron, beloved husband of Barbara (nee Doig). Loving father of Stephen and Michael, grandfather of Saarah, Scott, Annaka, Sam, Jasper, Mason, Will and great granddaughter Ellis. Dear brother of John Code and sister Deanne Clarke. Ron was a very active outdoor sports person. He loved playing golf, skiing, fishing, spending these times with his many great friends and family, and especially his long walks with Barb. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place in the Fairway Room at the Horseshoe Valley Resort, 1101 Horseshoe Valley Road West, Barrie, on Sunday, September 14th, 2025 from 1 pm - 4:30 pm. If desired, memorial donations to Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home, Orillia.
