SHEPHERD, Robert "Robin" Francis; (Volunteer with the Terry Fox Foundation and the Prostate Cancer Canada Network) Robin Shepherd, formerly of Cumberland Beach, passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia on March 18, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Linda Katherine (predeceased 2001). Loving father of J.C. Shepherd of Brooklin, NY and Francois St. Pierre of Toronto. Cherished step-father of Eric (Deborah) Hymander of Barrie, Carl (Jennifer) Hymander of Ottawa, Laina (Daniel) Lees of Kingston, Mikko Hymander of Thunder Bay, and Liisa Hymander (Matthew) of Thunder Bay. Special Grampa of Nicholas (Nicole), Kiara, Niall, Nolan, Cadel, Maggie, Diego, Xavier, Taliesin, Gaia, and Dreija. Brother of Elaine Hawke of Orillia, previously of Angus. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, on Monday, March 24th from 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm. Then to the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St. N., Orillia for Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday morning, March 25th at 10 a.m. Interment to take place at Mount Hope Cemetery, Toronto on Wednesday, March 26th at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial donations to the Terry Fox Foundation or the Prostate Cancer Canada Network would be greatly appreciated.
