McLachlan; Robert Charles "Bob" Passed away peacefully in his 69th year surrounded by his loving family on Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. Loving husband and best friend of Margaret McLachlan (nee Botman). Cherished father of Tanya McLachlan and Mark McLachlan & his wife Tiffany. Loved Opa of Noah. Dear brother of Neil McLachlan & his wife Margaret. Predeceased by his parents John C. and Ella M. McLachlan (nee Burke). Highly respected by his nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends. Bob was a man of many talents including entrepreneur, builder, RN, landscaper, visionary, storyteller and artist. Most of all he had a great love for his family and the outdoors. Following cremation, visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Parish Prayers will be held in the Parlour Friday evening at 6:45 PM. A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held at Marigold Springs, 1689 Division Rd. W., Orillia on Saturday afternoon, May 31, 2014 at 1 PM. If desired, Memorial Donations to the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society would be gratefully appreciated.
