Robbin Macpherson

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear Robbin on November 11, 2025, just days before celebrating her 60th birthday.

Beloved wife and best friend of Allen Macpherson. Loving mother of Shannon Rideout (Doug) and Mitchell Hopkins (predeceased) and fondly remembered by their father Jeff Hopkins (Cathy). Proud and devoted nana of Douglas and Clara and neighbour nana of Annalise and Josiah. Dear sister of Donna Wilcox-Martin and loved aunt of Rachael Norwood. 

Robbin was predeceased by her parents Cheryle & Jay Debney, and is survived by her father, Stewart Wilcox, and his children Jessica, Lisa, Garett, and Andrew.

Daughter-law of the late Gwen Galbraith and Murray Macpherson, and step-daughter-in-law of George Galbraith (Erika Giles). Loved sister-in-law of Deanna Dove (Steve) and Matthew Macpherson.

Those who knew Robbin will remember her passionate spirit and her lifelong love of animals. For more than 30 years, she welcomed customers with warmth and kindness at the Pet Valu (Fittons West Plaza), where her knowledge & compassion made her a familiar and trusted face.

Her dogs and horses were a true joy in her life, and with Allen by her side, she was able to live out her dream of farm living.

A celebration of Robbin’s life will be held on Sunday, December 7th from 1 - 3 p.m., with a time of shared memories at 2 p.m., at Hawk Ridge Golf & Country Club, 1151 Hurlwood Lane, Severn.
