Richard "Rick" DeFrederico

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Richard "Rick" Ross DeFrederico, on April 25, 2024 at the age of 55. Beloved son of Renee and Leonard Murphy; dear brother to Lonnie, Doug, and Patricia. Proud father to Christina , Ricky, Nicky, and Krista. Rick's presence will be dearly missed by his extended family, friends, and all who knew him. 

Rick was a natural artist. He made many drawings, several of which were of his children. He was also a singer, and even a carpenter; having helped build many of the homes in Orillia. Rick had a big heart. He continually helped support people in need, especially the homeless and those struggling with addictions. 

Visitation to take place from 1:00pm until 3:00pm on Saturday, May 11 at Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia. A Funeral Service will follow at 3:00pm in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.

Rick impacted so many people throughout his life, please continue his legacy of helping those in need by donating to The Lighthouse, Sharing Place Food Bank, or the Salvation Army in his memory.

Forever remembered, forever loved.
