CRAWFORD, Peter John

December 17, 1941 – January 30, 2023

It is with a heavy heart we announce that Peter Crawford passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 81.  Beloved husband of 55 years to Donna Crawford (nee Sheppard), father to Derek Crawford and Brett Crawford (Virginia), and Grandfather to Shanelle Crawford.  Predeceased by his parents Audrey and Edward Crawford of Midland, Ontario. Brother of Diane Whitley (Bob), Karen Juneau (Ron) and predeceased by James “Jim” Crawford (Lilian).  Son-in-law to the late Delbert “Bert” and Isobel Sheppard and brother-in-law to Carol Payne (Alf, deceased).  Loving uncle to Bradley and Alicia, Krystal and Kolin, Diane, Kim and Vicky, Tania and Jeff, a granduncle to many grandnieces and grandnephews, and a long-time and trusted friend to many friends and neighbours both near and far.  A reception will be held at Mundell Funeral Home 79 West Street N, Orillia Ontario L3V 5C1 on Saturday February 4, 2023 from 10 am until time of Funeral Service at 12 noon.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church of Washago, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Diabetes Canada, or a charity of your choice.
