Pearl Rita Vanderkley

Passed away peacefully at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia, on February 27, 2026, at the age of 91, just five days shy of her 92nd birthday. Beloved wife of Hans, with whom she shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Loving mother of Susan Moniz (Paul) and John Vanderkley. Proud Nanny of Amanda and April (Chris), and cherished Great-Nanny of Alice, Payton, Monroe, and Iris. Pearl and Hans were blessed with an early retirement, allowing them to winter in Florida for 33 years and to create treasured memories while relaxing at their summer residence on Balsam Lake. Pearl will remain in our hearts forever and she will be remembered for her quiet strength by all who knew her. As per Pearl’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
