Patricia “Pat” Adam

Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday May 27, 2025, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Jim Adam. Loving mother of Kelly Adam (Ron Hoseman) and Krista Evans (Rod). Cherished Nanny of Emily and Bradley Evans. She will be missed by her two sisters Betty Wilson (Bill) and Karen Stockdale (Barry) and fondly remembered by her cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Pat was born and raised in Orillia. She and Jim married in 1963 and raised their two daughters at their home on Lake Simcoe, the home that her parents built. Pat was a full-time mother and worked part-time at a local Optometrist office. She volunteered with the Canadian Cancer Society and the Orillia Figure Skating Club. In retirement, Pat loved gardening, swimming and her canine companions, doting on her own dogs and her “grand-dogs” over the years. Always happy to connect, Pat had a knack for turning a quick phone call into an hour-long catch-up. She had a deep love for her grandchildren and treasured every moment spent with them. She lit up in their presence and took great joy in being part of their lives.

In 2023 Pat moved to the Guelph area to be closer to family. The family would like to sincerely thank Wellington Terrace Long-Term Care Home staff for their kind and compassionate care of Pat.

Friends and relatives will be received for visitation at Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N Orillia on Monday June 2nd from 4 - 7pm. The funeral service will be held at Mundell Funeral Home chapel on Tuesday June 3rd at 11am followed by a reception. Private family interment to follow.
