Passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 96.  As a young officer in the Merchant Marine's, he traveled extensively and loved to tell stories about that time of his life.  He took pride in recognition by the Royal Canadian Legion.  After a long career with Canadian National Railways, he retired to the Severn River, where he golfed, fished, did some woodworking and spent time with family and friends.  In recent years, he made his home at Trillium Manor.  The family wishes to thank the staff there for their care.  Special thanks to granddaughter Kim Audia (Andy) of Orillia. Norm will be interred at St. George's Anglican Cemetery, Cooper's Falls.  If desired, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #34, Orillia would be appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home, Orillia.
