Madeleine Marie McArthur

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Madeleine Marie McArthur (nee McDonald) on Saturday, March 23, 2024, just one month after her beloved husband, Aubrey McArthur. Dear mother of Gerard (Debbie) and Suzanne (Phil). Much loved grandmother of Rebecca (Ranson), Bradley (Christine), Stephanie (David), and Matthew. Proud great-grandmother to Annabelle, Sophia, Jacob, Amelia, Zachary, Gabriel, and Jaxon. Daughter of the late Gordon and Theresa McDonald. Dear sister to Joseph (predeceased) (Florence) McDonald, Bernadette (Keith) Robertson, Daniel (Jeanne) McDonald, Angela (Roy, predeceased) Wolfenden, Vera  (Francis predeceased) Pinder, Lucille (Chuck, predeceased) Moore, Ray (predeceased) Eleanor McDonald, Sheila McDonald (predeceased), Jean McDonald, Cheryl (Steve) Killip, and Gloria Anne (predeceased). Madeleine will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Visitation will take place on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia, from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held At St. Francis of Assisi Church, 3315 Muskoka Street, Washago, on Saturday April 13 at 11:00am A reception will follow in the Church Hall. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Black River Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
