Mabel Fusco

Fusco, Mabel (Zanré), 1921 - 2025

Passed away peacefully at home June 25th, in her 104th year. A Dundee born Scottish lass who immigrated to Canada in 1955 with her husband Dominic (passed in 2000) and daughter Elaine. Moved to Orillia in 1956 to open Don’s Fish & Chips on Peter Street and after the sale of Don’s F&C’s continued to cater both ODCVI & Park Street cafeterias until the late 1970’s. Mabel leaves two grandchildren Michael & Julie, great granddaughter Ava, nieces in the UK, nephew Richard and niece Krystyna. A special recognition to Mabel’s very close friend Hilary Powel and family for all their friendship and care throughout the many years and especially this past year. Mass at Guardian Angels Church Monday June 30th @ 9:30am, cremation and internment at St. Michael’s cemetery to follow. Arrangements entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home, Orillia.
