Lauder, Lucie Antonie (Bagunk) Passed away, holding the hand of her daughter Dorothy, on Wednesday, January 21st, 2015, in her 77th year. Born March 18, 1938 in Rohstorf, Germany immigrating to Canada in 1960. Previously married, yet remaining friends with Peter & Lois Wedel. Daughter of the late Gertrude (Rusch) Bagunk & Helmuth Bagunk both of Germany. Predeceased by her husband Allan Lauder (2006) of Orillia and by her first born child Angela Wedel of Germany. Loving Mother of Doug Wedel of Toronto, Dorothy Wedel & Paul Mills of Bolton, Mike Wedel & Karla Wedel of British Columbia and step-mother of Neil Lauder of Orillia, Patricia Lauder of Orillia and Douglas & Sara Lauder of Bracebridge. Cherished Grandmother of Nicole Wedel of Brazil; Stephanie Sonser of Lafontaine, ON; Heather Sonser of Etobicoke, ON; Harrision Wedel, Rohan Wedel, Zehpryrn Wedel, all of British Columbia; Allan Lauder, Kristina Lauder, Robert Lauder, all of Orillia, ON; D. J. (Douglas James) Lauder, Christopher Lauder, and Jonathon Lauder of Bracebridge, ON. Proud Great Grandmother of Abigail Roth and Blake Borne. Dear sister of Waltraude & Willi Rappenhoner, Maria Thierhoff and Bernhadt Bagunk, all of Germany. Lucie was a proud Member and Participant of the Orillia Horticultural Society, volunteering and enjoying friendship with other avid gardeners; a Member of the First Baptist church of Orillia since 2004, participating and volunteering in various programs, choir, seniors', and volunteer groups; a proud supporter and helper in the Mennonite Disaster Services organization; but most of all she will be best remembered for her lush and vibrant gardens at her and Al's home on the corner of Anderson Avenue and Courtland Street, in Orillia. Friends and relatives will be received on Sunday, January 25th from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at the Mundell Funeral Home,79 West St. N., Orillia and on Monday, January 26th at the First Baptist Church, 265 Coldwater Rd., Orillia from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
