GORDON, Lorna Isabel (Retired Secretary, A.R.C. Industries, Orillia)- With family in attendance, Lorna Isabelle Gordon (Town) passed away quietly on Feb. 11, 2016, after a short illness at Spencer House in Orillia. Lorna is predeceased by husband Terry Gordon, daughter Jeannie Amos, granddaughter Alyson Kinch, parents Duncan & Lyla Town, brother Fred Town and sister Jean (Newman) Shire. Lorna will be missed by her children and their spouses: Terry Gordon & Elaine Peterson, Kelsey & Barry Kinch, Lyla & Reg Richard and Duncan & Janet Gordon. Cherished by grandchildren and their spouses: Damien & Trish Richard, Trevor & Andrea Kinch, Mac & Laura Gordon, Tara & John Swanson, Nicholas & Justine Richard, Alyssa Richard, Danielle Gordon, Madison Rousom and Michelle Gordon. Proud great grandmother of Isabelle Swanson, Alexis Swanson, Hudson Kinch, Lily Gordon and Mia Shilling. Fondly remembered by sister Mary Dougall and sister-in-law Mary Town. Her many friends and relatives will miss her warm smile and wonderful laugh. Many thanks to the caring staff at Spencer House who took such good care of Lorna over the last 6 years. Their many kindnesses will be remembered. Funeral Service will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 1 o'clock. Interment to follow at St. Andrew's - St. James' Cemetery, Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
