Leslie Jean Dechaine (née Davis) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at the Orillia Soldier’s Memorial Hospital on April 18, 2024 in her 73rd year. Beloved wife and best friend of David Eric Dechaine, loving mother of Lee (Amy), dear grandmother of Islay and Kash, daughter of the late Lois and Allan Davis, sister of Ryrie Davis (Lorrie). She is fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and cousins and sadly missed by her many dear friends.

Leslie will forever be remembered for her kind heart, strong spirit and devotion to the ones she loved. Leslie, a former educator that touched many lives, loved exploring new recipes and knitting and quilting with her beloved husband, keeping in touch with all her dear friends, reading interesting books, watching birds from her window accompanied by her companion dogs, spending time with her grandchildren and most importantly, spending summers at the French River, her home away from home.

At her request, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
