Laurene Duncan (nee Baker)

Passed away peacefully at Champlain Manor, on August 10th, 2026, at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Duncan and the late Joseph Ernest Oakley. Loving mother of the late Judy Cranney & her husband Bill, Scott Duncan & his wife Marg, Diane Bush & her husband the late Barry Bush, and Sandra Higgins & her husband Glenn. Cherished Gramma of Troy, Mark, Todd, Neil, Marci, David, Lindsey, Kristi, Nicole, and proud great grandmother of 16 and great great grandmother of 1. Laurene will be lovingly remembered by her sister Marion Brooks and was predeceased by her siblings Val, Henry, and Joan. Family meant the world to Laurene. She left notes expressing what a blessing each family member was to her, and she truly took great joy in watching the children enjoy " Gramma's treat drawer".

Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Saturday, August 15th from 11 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment: St. Andrew's - St. James' Cemetery, Orillia.
