Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday March 12, 2022 in the arms of his beloved wife Mona Moniz (nee Beaulieu). Jose, loving father of Wendy (Adam), Kelly (Brandon) and Leanna. Loved step father of Scott (Kala) and  Holly (Terry). Proud grandfather of Lily, Harmony, Noah, Liam and Harper. Loving son of the late Raul and Palmira Moniz. Cherished brother of  Maura (Manny), Connie (Tony) and Rui (Lina) Brother in law of Patricia (Brian) and Gerard (Tammy). Adored uncle of Melanie (Tiago), Michelle (Matthew), Caitlin, Ryan, Mike (Karlee), Bradley, Samantha, Jonathan, Michael (Caitlin), Cassidy (Liam), Melissa and Justin.
Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home 79 West St. N., Orillia on Saturday March 19, 2022 from 1 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM. Parish Prayer will be held in the Parlour Saturday evening at 6:30 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St. N., Orillia on Saturday March 26, 2022 at 2 PM.
Inurment to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society- Esophageal Research  would be appreciated by the family and may be made through the Mundell Funeral Home.
