Peacefully, with Alba by his side, at the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia, on Monday, April 4, 2022, in his 90th year.  Jack Elgie, loving common law husband of Alba McFadden and husband of the late Ellen Elgie.  Father of Lana (predeceased), Theresa, Heather and Wayne, grandfather and great grandfather.  Dear brother of Irene Strachan of Orillia and Orville Elgie of Bent, Oregon.  Jack is survived by his nieces, nephews and their families.  Visitation will take place at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia, on Friday, April 8th from 12 noon until time of service in the chapel at 2 pm.  Interment; St. Andrew's  St. James' Cemetery, Orillia.  If desire, memorial donations to the Charity of Ones Choice would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.mundellfuneralhome.com
