In Loving Memory of John Douglas Johnson

John Douglas Johnson, 77, passed away peacefully on September 14 2025 at Mariposa House Hospice in Severn, surrounded by his wife and children.

John was a man who found joy in the simple things such as a good song, live concerts and watching his favourite sports teams. He was well known for having a pocket full of jujubes and a Pepsi in hand.

Above all, John enjoyed spending his time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren who always put a smile on his face.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol (Boon) Johnson, his son Jeff (Carly) Johnson and their daughter Cecilia; and his daughter, Amy (Wilson) Bigelow and their children Xander, Jaxon and Anna. He will be deeply missed by his sister, Patricia Churchill and sister-in-law Linda (David)Nosworthy, along with his nephews, extended family and friends.

A drop-in, Celebration of Life will be held at the Joyland Beach Community Center in Ramara from 1-4 on Sunday October 19 2025
