Page, Joan Alice (nee: Roberts) (June 3, 1930 - April 6, 2014) (Past District Deputy Grand Matron of Lily of the Valley, Chapter #141 Orillia, O.E.S.) Went to be with her Lord & Savior while surrounded by family on Sunday, April 6th, 2014. Life time love for 62 years of George Albert Page. Cherished & beloved mother of Christine Strang (Paul Schinkel) and Joanne Blackwell (Dave Loney). Precious nanny of Jennifer Strang, Matthew Strang (David), Natalie Strang (Heather), Michael Strang (Stephanie), Jacob Blackwell (Emma) and Rachel Blackwell. Special great nanny to Gabriel Strang. Dear sister of Dorothy Welling and Edmond James Roberts (predeceased). Predeceased by her sons-in-law Bradley Blackwell and James Strang. Members of the Lily of the Valley, Chapter #141 Orillia, O.E.S. are asked to gather for service in the parlour Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Wednesday, April 9th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Thursday, April 10th from 12 noon until time of Service in the chapel at 1 p.m. In honour of Celebrating Joan's Life, please feel free to wear spring colours. Interment: St. Andrew's - St. James' Cemetery, Orillia. Memorial donations would be appreciated to the Ronald McDonald House, in appreciation of all their support in the miracle birth of Joan's great grandson Gabriel.
