Muir; Gerard "Jerry"- Passed away at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the age of 91. Jerry, beloved husband of the late Norma (nee Hillis). Loving father of Betty Hishon (Les) of Orillia and Bob Muir (Terry) also of Orillia. Loved grandfather of Allan Hishon (Lee Anne), Vickie Coombs (Ric), Lea-Anne McIsaac, Mathew Muir (Kate) and Robbie Muir. Proud great grandfather of Brandon, Shannon & Angela Hishon, Nicole, Andrew, Jessica, Katelyn & Jack Mc Isaac, Tyler Muir and great great grandfather of Marcello Hishon. Brother of the late Gladys, John, Ed and Margaret. Survived by sister in law Dorothy Palmer. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. The late Mr. Jerry Muir will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 1 PM. Interment at Stone Church Cemetery, Beaverton. If desired, Memorial Donations to the Lung Association or the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
