Hilde Moffatt

Hilde passed away peacefully on July 31st, 2026, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late John "Jack" Moffatt. She will be remembered by Angela Moffatt and her family.

Hilde was the sister-in-law of Eileen Ahnert, the late Tom Moffatt, and the late Anne Marie Smith. Cherished aunt of Donna (Claudio), Gerry (predeceased), Cathy (Jamie), Michele (Shawn), Steve (Tanya) and proud great aunt of Lindsay, Mat, Michela, Jayden, Megan, Kelly, Jessi, Nic, Tyler, and Melanie.

Hilde was a dear friend to many and will be greatly missed by her long-time friends from Brechin. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff and residence of the Leacock Lodge (her extended family) for their friendship and support.

Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home (79 West St. N., Orillia) on Wednesday, August 5th from 3 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 5 p.m. Cremation to follow.
