Passed away on February 23rd, 2022.  A life well lived.  Born July 10, 1930.  Helen, beloved wife of the late Jim Smith for 57 years..  Loving mother of Lynn Morris (Frank), Jim (Shelley), Ben (Norma), Amy Chisholm (Trevor).  Mother in law to Tim Cahill. Chosen mother in law of Shirley Healy.  Beloved sister in law to Francis, Carol and Marion Smith.  Greatest sorrows were the loss of her family Michael, Betty-Ann wife of the late Bernard Healy and Theresa Cahill.  Her grandchildren Michael Chapman, Christopher Morris and Zach Smith.  Cherished grandmother of Helen Cooper (Kelly), Anne Hargrave (Wes), Jamie Healy (Trisha), Chuck Healy (Margie), Nicole Morris-Palma (Hector), Tyler Smith (Kristi),  Jennifer Thorney (Wade), Jacob (Ali), Sarah and Eli Smith, Amanda (Dylan), Ashley (Drew) and Ryan Chisholm.  Great grandchildren Jordan, and Alexis Cooper, Justin Hargrave, Riley Healy, Matias, Lucas and Elliot Palma, Georgia & Abigail Smith, Sloane and Sawyer Smith, Ammar and Nyella Thorney, and Hayden Healy.  Mother was a proud member of the Catholic Women's League of St. Columbkille for 68 years.  A farm wife, whose family came first.  Always firm in her faith and faithful to her rosary.  Everyone was a friend and she was always glad to see you.   She loved to gather with family and friends and she will be deeply missed.  Mass of Christian Burial to take place at St. Columbkille's Church, Uptergrove, on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 10 am.  Spring Interment; St. Columbkille's Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Autism Ontario (Simcoe County Chapter) or St. Columbkille Repair and Renewal Fund will be appreciated.  Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.mundellfuneralhome.com
