Hazel Alna Davey (nee: Roesch)

Passed away peacefully at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia, on Friday, July 25, 2025, at the age of 90.

Beloved wife of the late Norman Davey. Loving mother of Patty Sears (Gary, predeceased), Edward "Ted" Davey (Christine), David Davey (Jenny), and Stephen Davey (June), all of Orillia. Cherished grandmother of Crystal, Kelly, Jodie, Karina, Mandy, Natalie, Shaun, Steven, David Jr., and Shelley. Proud great-grandmother of Gwenna, Doug, Justin, Jaiden, Alyssa, Breanna, Matthew, Paige, Maya, Ryan, Aidan, Haleigh, Owen, Braylen, Brinley, Kayla, and Lohen. Hazel was the last surviving member of the Roesch family. She was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Leona Roesch, and her siblings, Kay (John), Ken (Pat), Murray (Vi), and Betty (Lee). The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Birchmere Retirement Residence and Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia, for their care and compassion.

As per Hazel's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #34, 215 Mississaga St. E., Orillia on Saturday, August 23rd from 2 - 6 p.m.
