Amodeo, Gus
"He was the best of us"
It is with profound sadness we announce the death of our brother, on July 14, 2025. Predeceased by parents Gust and Evelyn of Richvale. Also predeceased (2022) by the love of his life Bev (Baila) Greenberg. Beloved stepdad to Mark (Maria) and Jody (Mary) and loved Grandpa to Jacob, Jessica, Julia, Emma and Ally Swartz. Loved brother of Evelyn (Garry) Provis,
Chris, Anne-Marie Dean (Kit Martin), Laura (Aldo), Gerbasi. Loved brother-in-law (and buddy) of Jeff (late Hinda) Greenberg and Linnie (Martin) Lapidus. Loved uncle of Mike and Mark Provis, Hilary, James and Joshua Dean, Holly, Katie and Megan Gerbasi, Jackie and Barbara Greenberg, Robbie and Darren Glickman. Much loved and deeply missed by all, especially his beloved and faithful puppy companion "Oliver" of 14 1/2 years and dear friends Marty & Marjorie, Wayne & Christine, Paul & Karen, Ruth & Doug. Also left to mourn, is Chris Stewart and Carole McTear, the beloved and best friends and neighbours to Gus and Bev that anyone could ever wish for. The love, support, friendship and meals shared....were second to none. Being a "foodie", Gus loved being their taste tester and loved them dearly. A special "thanks" to all of Gus' "Foster's Forest" family for their loving supports and visits. Although some days "it was tough being Gus" he smiled, he fought, he made a difference. Forever missed and always in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations greatly appreciated to Matthews House Hospice at www.matthews.house or Thunder's Run Inc at www.thundersrun.com Arrangements entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home, Orillia.
