Gloria Joyce Boyd passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Mariposa House Hospice. After a lifetime of generously bestowing kindness and blessing to others, she is now experiencing the fullness of joy of eternal life with her Saviour. She was the eldest daughter of Edward (1983) and Eileen (2014) Freeburn, the dearly devoted wife of her beloved husband Norman (2018), and the much-loved sister of Anne and her husband Don Macfarlane of Barrie, Ontario. She will be missed by many caring cousins, a wide circle of friends, and many in her neighborhood who were so kind and helpful.

Friends will be received at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia, Ontario on Sunday January 4, 2026, from 2-5 pm and on Monday, January 5 from 12 pm until the time of the Service at 1 pm.

Interment in the Spring at Atherley Cemetery.
