After a lengthy battle with cancer, Fred Emms passed away at the Humber River Hospital, Toronto, on Monday, February 22, 2021 in his 65th year.  Fred Emms will be sadly missed by his common-law wife Peggy Patten.  Loving father of Shawn (fiance Linda) of Toronto and Kelsey (fiance) Mitchell) of Newfoundland.  Dear brother of  Gordon (predeceased), Esther (predeceased), Kenneth (Roseann) of Orillia, George of Calgary, Margaret (Tom) of Havelock, Diane (predeceased), Susan of Hamilton, Ronald of Orillia and Mary Ann (Ben) of Orillia.  Cremation has taken place.   A Private Family service will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.  Unfortunately, due to COVID capacity restrictions, you may view the live stream at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGLIu9-qr2lbuRi0n62A4SA/featured?view_as=subscriber beginning at 1 pm.   If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
