Frank Joseph Kehoe
February 12, 1934 - December 24, 2025
Frank Joseph Kehoe passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 12, 1934, in Orillia, Ontario, the beloved son of Stella and Martin Kehoe. He was predeceased by his brothers Jack and Paul.
Frank was the devoted husband of Margaret for 68 remarkable years, a partnership defined by loyalty, and shared adventure. He was a proud father to Catherine (Michael)McCullough) Patrick Kehoe, and Michael Martin Kehoe (Joanne). He cherished his role as “Papa” to his grandchildren Caleigh (Kristian) Laughlin, Brendan, Seann, Justin (Gio), Eric, Andrew, and Aidan, and later as “Old Papa” to his great-grandchildren Nyla, Clarke, and Quinn. Frank is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and his cherished sister-in-law, Helen Clarke.
A true one-of-a-kind character, Frank lived life fully and unapologetically. He was an entrepreneur at heart, known for his persistence, tenacity, and unmistakable personality. His life was rich with accomplishments, travels, stories, and unforgettable antics that will be retold for generations. While strong-willed and determined, Frank was equally kind and generous, always willing to lend a hand or share his wisdom.
Frank dedicated 35 years of service to the Ministry of Transportation, building a career marked by commitment and integrity. His pride in community service extended beyond his professional life. He served on Orillia City Council and the Orillia Water Light and Power Commission, roles he held with deep pride and a strong sense of responsibility.
Frank was proud of his community, his heritage, and the life he built with his family. His presence filled every room, and his absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew and loved him. The song that best captures our Dad’s spirit and approach to life is “My Way “ by Frank Sinatra - a fitting tribute to a man who truly lived life on his own terms.
He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
