Frances Franklin Dale

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Frances Franklin Dale on June 3, 2025 in her 100th year. Predeceased by parents Charles and Ruth Dale. 

Known to most as Fran, she had the longest residency at Trillium Manor expanding over nearly 30 years. Her nurses and staff at Trillium became her family, and she loved them for it and always made sure to they knew it. Prior to her life at Trillium, Fran was a lab technician and proud long-time member of the First Baptist Choir. There she met her friend Joan, who adopted her into her family for Sunday meals, birthday parties (with eggless tomato soup cake) and many social visits. Joan's husband Maurice and their boys welcomed her and she became a part of their family. Fran loved her church and had a strong faith. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Arrangements have been entrusted with Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at Trillium Manor, 12 Grace Avenue, Orillia, on Friday, June 20 at 1:30pm. A time of fellowship to follow with light refreshments. Fran will rest at the Terrace Lawn Cemetery, North Bay. Please consider making a donation to the charity of your choice in Fran's memory.
