It is with profound sadness that we formally announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Faye Christine Stein, daughter of the late William Leslie Petteplace and Mary Erma Beatty of Perth, Ontario.

Cherished daughter-in-law of the late Fred and Katherine Stein. Loving sister-in-law to Arthur, Blaine, Morley (deceased), and Barb and Rosemary.

Devoted wife of the late Garry Stein and mother to daughters Debra of Edson, Alberta, Judy/Richard of Newmarket, Ontario, Wanda/Doug of Greenwood, Nova Scotia, Wendy of Orillia, Ontario, and sons Tommy/Michelle of Victoria Harbour, Nova Scotia, and Garry of Orillia, Ontario.

Adored grandmother to Amber of Summerville, Newfoundland, Jason/Loren of Edson, Alberta, Tosha of Orillia, Ontario, Tiffany/Kyle of Ramara, Ontario, Miria/Shane of Chalk River, Ontario, Brett/Denzie of Midland, Ontario, Emma of Orillia, Ontario, Ashley/Brad of Porters Lake, Nova Scotia, Josh/Randi-lee of Chalk River, Ontario, Miranda/Kevin of Calgary, Alberta, and Marlee of Ottawa, Ontario.

Beloved great-grandmother to Dylan, son of Jason Yeo/Angie of Edson, Alberta, Nash, son of Tosha Troian of Orillia, Ontario, Max and Mae, son and daughter of Ashley Clouthier of Porters Lake, Nova Scotia, Henry and Brinley, son and daughter of Miranda and Kevin Collins of Calgary, Alberta, and Madeline, daughter of Josh and Randi-lee Stein of Chalk River, Ontario.

Mom will also be deeply missed by her remaining family in Perth, Ontario - nephews Tim/Jennie and Steven/Susan, sons of the late Vic and Barb Petteplace, and Tim's sons Jordan, Nick, and daughter Kayla.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the nurses of the 2nd Floor Palliative Care Unit, Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of life is being planned for sometime in Late August, with details to follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers etc., Donations to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.
