It is with great sadness that the family of Evelyn (Evie) Ardell Bagley announce her passing on Monday, September 9, 2024, at the age of 97. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents Florence and Thomas Bagley, her sister Marion (Larry Robillard) and sister Doreen (Siegfried Walter). Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Mike predeceased, Tina, Jan, Michele, Ryan and Tiffany along with their families. Evelyn spent her career at the CIBC from the age of 16 to retirement and in her earlier years was an active member of the Orillia Curling Club. She also loved to travel in her younger days with her companion of many years, Arnold Hoogen. The family cottage on the Severn River was Evelyn’s home away from home and spending time there with the family was a highlight of every summer/Thanksgiving season. She was a favourite aunt to so many and will be greatly missed.

A service will be held at Mundell Funeral Home at 11 am. on Friday, October 11. If desired, donations to the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre Simcoe Muskoka would be appreciated. Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.mundellfuneralhome.com .
