Passed away peacefully at the Champlain Manor, Orillia on January 14, 2026. Beloved wife of Glen Albert Sheedy. Cherished mother of Donald Wilson (Wanda) and Robert Wilson (Valerie), all of Orillia. Loved stepmother of Jason Sheedy (Jade), Aaron Sheedy (Carla), Ben Sheedy, and Heather Sheedy. Proud grandmother of Donald, Cassandra, Sirius,, Phoenix, Grace, Isabella, and great grandmother of 7. Sister of Carol O'Neill & husband Eddie, both predeceased of London, Donna Thornton & the late Nelson of Orillia, and Mervin & wife Vicky of London.

Elly’s family is deeply grateful to the caregivers at Champlain Manor, Dr. Dharssi and his team, as well as Guardian Angels Church and Mundell Funeral Home. Special thanks to Glen’s niece, Alana McCarthy, for her selfless support over the years.

Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home on Saturday, January 31st from 10 a.m. until time of service in chapel at 11a.m. with a time of refreshments to follow. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
