Peacefully passed away at his home in Ramara on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025 at the age of 83 years. He is predeceased by his beloved companion and best friend Lottie Newman. He will be missed dearly by his children Jerry (Susan), Brian (Rose), Crystal (Cameron), and step-sons John, Jim, Charles, George and extended family. Egbert is the loving grandfather of Victoria (Kyle), Emily (Dominic), Ethan (Kayla), Hilary (Jake), Christian (Kait) and step granddaughters Shelly and Sara, great grandfather of Aurora, Declan and Everleigh who brought him strength, happiness and joy. He is predeceased by his parents Henry and Hilda Renkema. Dear brother of Jerry, Webb (Joan), Fenje, Abel predeceased, Henry predeceased and Ann. Egbert will be remembered for his love of animals, hard working and giving to others in need. He will be sadly missed.

A Celebration of Egbert's Life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home.
