Edward "Ed" Leslie

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward (Ed) Leslie, who passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, March 7, 2025.

Ed will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Joy Leslie; his children, Shawn (Marcia), Kelly, and Kimberly Rehm (Nathan); and his cherished grandchildren, Samuel, David, Ocean, Ben, and Jaxson. He was a beloved brother to Roland and is predeceased by his brothers Roger and Frank.

Ed had a deep love for music, often filling a room with his singing and guitar playing. He found joy in fishing and was always ready with a quick wit or a joke, bringing laughter to those around him.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Ed’s caregivers and family doctor for their kindness and support. In keeping with Ed’s wishes, a private ceremony celebrating his life will be held by the family in lieu of a formal funeral.

His spirit will live on in the music he loved, the stories he shared, and the memories held by those who knew him.

Arrangements have been entrusted with Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia. Cremation has taken place. As per Ed's wishes, a private family celebration will be held in warmer weather.
