AYERS, EDNA EILEEN JOHNSTONE, daughter of Jack & Lilly (Mawdsley) Johnstone, passed away peacefully with family at her side at home in Forest Home, Oro-Medonte.
Beloved wife of the late Gilchrist Roy Ayers for 61 years.  Loving mother of Roy - predeceased (Pam) of Echo Bay, Marion Brown (Gerry - predeceased) of Orillia, Lorna (Ron) Sommers of Oro-Medonte, Helen (Abe) VanderWelle of Parry Sound, Norma Harvie (Randy - predeceased) and Margaret (Glen) Conway all of Forest Home.  Dear grandmother of 23 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Dear sister of Norman (Helen) Johnstone of Rochester, N.Y. and Joyce South (Larry predeceased) of Kingston, ON.  Siblings Lorna, Helen, Mervyn, Alan & Harvie all predeceased. Sister in law to Dora Hawke, Harry, Jack, Joseph, Ernest, Elmer & Albert Ayers all predeceased.  Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends near & far!
The late Edna Johnstone Ayers will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street N., Orillia, with Visitation on Sunday, April 2nd, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 P.M., and Monday, April 3rd on Edna & Gillie’s Anniversary, from 1 - 2 P.M., Service to follow.  For those who are not able to be present for the service, you may watch via Livestream by clicking and registering on the following link

Interment: - St. Andrew’s - St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia.
