Durward "Jerry" Samuel Kimberley passed away at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital; in Orillia on December 9, 2020 in his 91st year.
Known to many as Jerry, he was born in Orillia on August 17, 1930 and resided there most of his life. He worked in the wood manufacturing industry in the Orillia, Walkerton and Mississauga areas. With his love of wood and carpentry skills he made a hobby of building and renovating many homes. He also built many backyard projects. When not holding a hammer, he enjoyed boating and time spent with family and friends.
Durward "Jerry" is survived by wife Shirley (nee Skinner), children Anne (Michael) Mullen, Gordon, and Dora-Jane; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by parents William and Lila (Nee Middlebrook), siblings Margaret (Mercer), Anne (Simpell), and Paul; and previous wife Audrey (nee Rowan).
Arrangements entrusted with Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia. Interment at St-Andrew's-St. James' Cemetery, 320 Coldwater Road, Orillia.
